Wireless Test Facility at Liberty University
The CAER has expanded their agreement with Liberty University to use the Open Area Test Site (OATS) that was originally developed by Ericsson.The CAER is working to reactivate this test site. The building is constructed of non-metallic materials and is specifically designed for conducting standardized or research tests for Electro Magnetic compatibility tests.The CAER will make the facility available to research partners from Virginia's universities and the wireless industry. Students and faculty from Liberty University's Computer Science program will be recruited to assist in the work conducted at the test facility. The CAER has repaired the building and will collaboarate with LU to make the research site available to local industry.
