Virginia Career Education Foundation

The Virginia Career Education Foundation (VCEF) is a public-private partnership established to promote Career & Technical Education throughout the state. The Foundation has the ability to partner with employers to develop public awareness campaigns to generate interest among high school students in specific careers.

Working in cooperation with Virginia’s Department of Education, the Foundation can also serve as a liason with the public school system to disseminate specific career information, and to facilitate job shadowing programs, internships, and other outreach efforts.

The centerpiece of the Foundation’s educational efforts is a comprehensive career-reference website, www.KnowHowVirginia.org, which can accommodate career-specific content for major employers.
